I’m Yari.

My family and I have relocated to Richmond, VA to be closer to family. My fiancé, Colin, owns a successful photo and video company , Heritage Visuals, and grew up in Midlothian. I’ve always enjoyed our visits with family and have often hoped we’d move to Virginia once the kids were school age. When we would visit we made it a point to visit as many locally owned restaurants, We were never disappointed. I spent most of my life the sunny state of Florida, when I wasn’t working as a hairstylist, I enjoyed spending my time outdoors enjoying family and friends at Disney, picnicking or gilling out almost every weekend. If there was at least two people there was always a reason to celebrate! Growing up, my mom had always hosted the best parties with delicious food and amazing music, I guess it rubbed off on me because I can’t get enough of designing amazing spaces for all kinds of events, large or small.

After our “big move” from Florida to Virginia, we started spending most of our time outdoors enjoying and exploring our new neighborhood. Oh yea, did I mention we moved at the start of the pandemic? Since most places we wanted to explore were closed, We spent many days supporting local restaurants and manicuring a luxurious picnic spread for me and my family. I founded Picnic Social Club as a way to learn and explore my new city! What better way to be social than to share it all with you. As things slowly start to open back up, we’re excited to visit our neighborhood and start getting social, pandemic style. Colin and I try to make it a point to have one date night a month and since most places are closed we usually order take out and make our dinning room our “restaurant experience”. Picnic Social Club is a great way to stay socially distant while still enjoying your favorite food in beautiful places. We are all about mental health and getting outdoors.

I am your point of contact when booking and leads all design and creating. My love for all things creative, yummy food, and hosting help me create a sense of magic through stylish spaces, places and my products.
